I’ve lived a number of other places, and I'm really grateful for having lived in town because it gives me a better perspective on what I value and on why people in town don’t necessarily understand why the prairie is worthwhile. Authors Linda Hasselstrom and Rick Mills pair up to present "Musings from Metro Hermosa" at the Custer Library this weekend and the Hermosa Library next weekend. They join us to talk about writing, friendship, and what community looks like in South Dakota. Linda M. Hasselstrom, b. 1943, is a writer of poetry and nonfiction based in Hermosa, South Dakota. She is a graduate of Rapid City High School and the University of South Dakota.
